• Wings moneyline (-135)

I like Dallas to win outright for my Liberty vs. Wings prediction ahead of Thursday’s matchup.

The Wings have won the first two head-to-head meetings with the Liberty, both of which took place on the road. They earned a 91-76 victory on May 24 as 6.5-point underdogs. They were +4.5 ahead of their 88-77 win on July 7.

Dallas being a favorite in the third matchup makes a lot of sense to me, and not just because it’s playing at home this time around. The Wings are 8-3 since moving Awak Kuier to the starting lineup, ranking fourth in the league with a net rating of +5.1 over that span.

During that same stretch, the Liberty are 10th in the league with a -1.6 net rating.

So far this season, New York has struggled on the road. The Liberty are 6-6 away from home, while the Wings are 7-3 in College Park Center.

This spread has moved in Dallas’ favor since opening at 1.5, but I still like the moneyline value at -135 or better.
