BetMGM has posted WNBA win totals for the 2026 season.

In this market, oddsmakers set an over/under for each team’s regular-season wins, and bettors pick whether the team finishes above or below that number.

Here’s a breakdown of the latest WNBA odds and top win total predictions heading into the 2026 campaign:

Highest WNBA Win Total in 2026

The New York Liberty have the highest win total for the 2026 season, heading into the year with an over/under of 32.5. The Liberty had the same win total last year, finishing 27-17.

Lowest WNBA Win Total in 2026

The Portland Fire have the lowest win total during the 2026 season. They have an over/under of 9.5 in their first season in the WNBA.

WNBA Win Total Predictions 2026

  • Minnesota Lynx Under 27.5 wins (Pick made April 20)
  • Toronto Tempo Under 15.5 wins (Pick made April 20)

Lynx Win Total Prediction: Under 27.5 Wins

It’s never fun to bet against Minnesota’s Cheryl Reeve, who is arguably the best head coach in the league. But Reeve will have her work cut out for her after the Lynx lost so much of their rotation from last year’s 34-win team.

Alanna Smith and Jessica Shepard left for bigger paydays to make up the Dallas Wings’ front court. Bridget Carleton was the Portland Fire’s top pick in the expansion draft. Natisha Hiedeman signed with the Seattle Storm.

In terms of minutes played, Minnesota is replacing four of its top seven rotation players. Napheesa Collier, the Lynx’s MVP candidate, will be sidelined to start the season after having surgeries on both ankles. That’s a lot of pressure on veteran guards Kayla McBride and Courtney Williams to steady the ship.

The Lynx have been a 30-win team in back-to-back years, but they were below .500 in 2022 and 2023 as they figured out their new core. This could be another short transition period, which is why I like the under on Minnesota’s win total this year.

Tempo Win Total Prediction: Under 15.5 Wins

The Golden State Valkyries set a high bar for expansion teams. They won 23 games and became the first expansion team to make the postseason in their first year. Golden State’s win total was 8.5 last year.

I’m not surprised to see both the Toronto Tempo and Fire enter the year with a double-digit win total, though the former has the better mark. The Tempo’s win total is 15.5, while the Fire’s clip is 11.5.

I’m not convinced there is that big a gap between these two teams. The Tempo have solid backcourt duo between Marina Mabrey and Brittney Sykes, but neither player has really demonstrated the ability to lead a winning team. I question if Toronto has the frontcourt talent to compete in Year 1.

In my opinion, this win total was set with the expectation that the Tempo would land a bigger free agent target. They tried to get Shakira Austin, but the Washington Mystics matched the offer.

Expansion teams aren’t supposed to do what the Valkyries did last year. The Tempo might struggle in their debut season, but this is a franchise worth believing in down the road.
