The St. Louis Cardinals haven’t won a postseason series since 2019, but they have a chance to end that streak in the 2024 MLB playoff picture.

Cardinals Playoff Chances

The Cardinals playoff odds are off the board at this time.

Here are the latest playoff odds in the NL Central:

  • Brewers: -1000
  • Cardinals: Off the board
  • Reds: +600
  • Cubs: +675
  • Pirates: +700

Cardinals Playoff Seed

If the postseason began today, the Cardinals would be the No. 5 seed in the National League. They’re five games behind the Milwaukee Brewers for the division lead in the NL Central.

As the No. 5 seed, St. Louis would travel to face the Atlanta Braves in the best-of-three Wild Card series.

Here’s the current NL bracket:

Last Time the Cardinals Made the Playoffs

The Cardinals made the playoffs in 2022, dropping a 2-0 decision to the Philadelphia Phillies in the NL Wild Card Series.

St. Louis hasn’t won a playoff series since 2019, when it ultimately fell to the Washington Nationals in the NLCS.
