As of Opening Day 2023, Dusty Baker is the oldest active MLB manager at 73 years old.

Baker has managed the Houston Astros since 2020, having previously served as manager of the Washington Nationals (2016-17), Cincinnati Reds (2008-13), Chicago Cubs (2003-06), and San Francisco Giants (1993-2002). Prior to his coaching career, he played 19 seasons in MLB, most notably with the Los Angeles Dodgers.
