With the start of a new season comes hope for almost every team that this year could be the year to win a national title. Indiana proved that a year ago, winning its first-ever national championship.
So, which teams do fans like this year?

Notre Dame (15 states) – AZ, CO, DC, IA, IL, IN, KY, MD, NO, NC, NJ, NY, PA, TN, VA
Notre Dame is by far the most bet team, as 15 different states have them as the most bet-on team by tickets. The Fighting Irish are currently +650 to win the national championship, tied for the second-best odds.
Ohio State (3 states) – MA, OH, WV
Three states, including its home state of Ohio, like the Buckeyes to win their 10th national championship. They currently have the best odds at +600.
Oregon (2 states) – KS, WY
Two states — Kansas and Wyoming — favor the Oregon Ducks winning the national championship. They are currently +650, tied with Notre Dame and Texas for the second-best odds.
Michigan (1 state) – MI
It’s no surprise Michigan is favoring the Wolverines to win the national championship. They are currently +2500.
Texas (1 state) – NV
Nevada is the only state picking Texas to win the national title. The Longhorns have odds of +650 to win the national championship.
Georgia (1 state) – MS
Mississippi is the only state that favors the Bulldogs to win the national championship. Georgia is currently +900.
LSU (1 state) – LA
It’s no surprise Louisiana likes LSU to win the national title. LSU is currently +1600.
