When it comes to NASCAR betting, it’s important to note the track hosting that week’s race. Oftentimes drivers perform better on some tracks than others.

Some of the top tracks include Talladega Superspeedway, Daytona International Speedway and Martinsville Speedway.

While ringing the bell before a Las Vegas Golden Knights game, BetMGM NASCAR driver Austin Dillon ranked his five best race tracks of all time.

Martinsville Speedway

Located in Ridgeway, Virginia, Martinsville is the only race track that has been on the NASCAR circuit since its beginning in 1948. It’s the only oval track on the NASCAR circuit to have asphalt surfaces on the straightaways and concrete to cover the turns.

Winners of the NASCAR Cup Series, Truck Series, and Whelen Modified events receive a longcase clock as a trophy. This is because of Martinsville’s famous furniture industry.

Richard Petty (15) has the most career wins at the track.

Darlington Raceway

The uniquely oval-shaped track — with different configurations for the ends — is located in Darlington, South Carolina.

The 1.33-mile track currently hosts major races like the Southern 500 and Goodyear 400 in the NASCAR Cup Series, and the Sport Clips Haircuts WFW 200 and Shriners Children’s 200 in the NASCAR Xfinity Series.

With 10 career wins, David Pearson has the most wins at the track.

Charlotte Motor Speedway

Located in Concord, North Carolina, Charlotte Motor Speedway is a 1.5-mile quad oval track that hosts the Coca-Cola 600 every Memorial Day weekend and the Bank of America Roval 400.

The quad oval is asymmetrical; turns 1 and 2 are 2,400 feet, while turns 3 and 4 are 2,040 feet.

Homestead-Miami Speedway

Located in Homestead, Florida, Homestead-Miami Speedway has several different configurations and currently hosts the 4EVER 400 in the NASCAR Cup Series and Contender Boats 300 in the NASCAR Xfinity Series.

The NASCAR track measures 1.502 miles.

Daytona International Speedway

After opening in 1959, it’s been the home of the Daytona 500, which is the biggest racing event of the year and always the first of the season.

“Can’t beat the Daytona 500,” Dillon said.

It also hosts two other NASCAR Cup Series races – the Coke Zero 400 and the Bluegreen Vacation Duel.
