The Los Angeles Clippers erased a 35-point deficit against the Washington Wizards and squeak out a 116-115 win during the 2021-22 season. While LA’s victory was certainly improbable and delivered a payout for Clippers’ bettors at the online sportsbook, it’s not the largest comeback in NBA history.

Biggest Comeback in NBA History

36 Points – Utah Jazz vs. Denver Nuggets (November 11, 1996).

Led by their Hall of Fame tandem of Karl Malone and John Stockton, the Jazz stormed back from a 36-point deficit to stun the Nuggets 107-103.

Trailing 70-36 at the break, Utah outscored Denver 71-33 in the second half. Malone finished the contest with a monster 31-point, 17-rebound double-double, while Stockton handed out ten assists.
