Ian Eagle, who calls NFL, NBA and college basketball games, will replace Jim Nantz following the 2023 NCAA Tournament.
This will be Nantz’s final NCAA Tournament, but he will still handle his NFL and golf duties for CBS.
“It is time with two young children and an older daughter that I spend more time at home,” Nantz told the New York Post. “Daddy needs to be home.”
Nantz has called NCAA Tournament games since 1986.
The 2023 Final Four will be in Houston, which is fitting for Nantz since that is where he went to college.
