Philadelphia Eagles’ running back Miles Sanders is in the final year of his rookie contract, a four-year deal he signed after his selection in the second round of the 2019 NFL Draft.
Miles Sanders Contract
Sanders’ rookie contract is a four-year deal worth $5,350,175, approximately $2.6 million of which was guaranteed at the time. Nearly four years later, Sanders is entering the final game of that contract and is set to hit free agency after Super Bowl LVII.
His base salary of $1,224,569 for the 2022-23 season ranks 29th-highest among running backs.
Base Salary: $1,224,569
Cap Hit: $1,704,156
Total Cash: $1,224,569
Free Agency: 2026
Miles Sanders Extension
If Miles Sanders re-signs with the Eagles or lands elsewhere in free agency, the deal could be worth approximately $7.2 million per season, Spotrac projects.
That would put the former Penn State star in the same ballpark as Leonard Fournette, who signed a three-year, $21-million contract with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers before the 2022 season.
