The PGA Tour is back.

For the first event of the 2026 season, players will be in Hawaii for the Sony Open in Hawaii at Waialae Country Club. Typically, this is the second event of the year, but The Sentry was cancelled this year due to poor conditions months ago at the Plantation Course at Kapalua.

While not a PGA Tour signature event, there are a number of big names in the field, including Russell Henley, J.J. Spaun, Collin Morikawa, Ben Griffin and Robert MacIntyre.

Located on the Pacific Ocean, winds will play a factor. At 7,040 yards, it is not a long course by PGA Tour standards, so positioning off the tee and precision into greens will be the biggest factors.

Nick Taylor is the defending champion.

Winning scores have been less than 20-under the last three years, so it will not be a birdie fest like other PGA Tour events.

*Odds as of Jan. 12.
