Lamont Roach vs. William Zepeda: Prediction
I predict a decision win for Zepeda over Roach, because of the volume he throws, which could overwhelm Roach. Roach is a very calculated counterpuncher who has been tagged before, plus he’s very uncomfortable when opponents pressure him constantly.
With Zepeda’s consistent forward pressure, Roach will be forced to fight with his back on the ropes and weather his opponent’s combinations. But if he crumbles to Zepeda’s relentless attack, it will be a long night for him.
Isaac Cruz scored a knockdown against Roach with his relentless pressure and landed a clean hook. I think Zepeda will incorporate this into his fight plan against Roach and force him to open up.
