The Tampa Bay Rays are one win away from a trip to the World Series when they host the Cleveland Guardians at 8:08 p.m. ET on Monday at Tropicana Field on TBS.

Guardians vs. Rays Prediction for Game 6 ALCS

I prefer the over on the full-game total (6.5) for Game 6 of the ALCS. I’d also consider the plus-money price on a first-inning run in tonight’s battle.
The series has reached a point where pitching fatigue is a concern. Both teams will have to call on pitchers who have already thrown multiple times in a series. The more times a team faces the same pitcher in a series, the better the offensive results.
Rays right-hander Freddy Peralta will make his third appearance in this ALCS when he starts for the home side in Game 6. Peralta spun six scoreless innings in Game 2. He also logged two outs on his bullpen day in Game 4.
If the Guardians can get to Peralta early, Tampa Bay manager Kevin Cash has shown little trust in his bullpen. He’s used relievers Cam Booser and Bryan Baker three times in five games, including consecutive weekend contests.
The Guardians, meanwhile, have asked even more of their pitching staff after needing all five games to advance past the ALDS.
Tanner Bibee could log the most outs in Game 6, but Cleveland will likely use a combination of relievers around him. Daniel Espino, Cade Smith, Hunter Gaddis, Erik Sabrowski, Shawn Armstrong, and Tim Herrin have all made at least three appearances in this series.
I project these two teams to combine for seven-plus runs, so I like the over in Game 6.
