On Dec. 29, 2020, the Milwaukee Bucks broke an NBA record with 29 made 3-pointers against Miami. The previous record-holder was Houston with 27 made threes in 2019.
The Bucks attempted 51 3-pointers in the 144-97 win, making 56.9 percent of them. It was a fun game to watch for the online betting community, especially those who took the over for total points (226.5).
It was a team effort by the Bucks. Jrue Holiday, Sam Merrill, Khris Middleton, Brook Lopez, Donte DiVincenzo, Bobby Portis, D.J. Wilson, Thanasis Antetokounmpo, Jordan Nwora, Pat Connaughton, DJ Augustin, and Bryn Forbes all made at least one 3-pointer.
Holiday hit the most threes with six, making the team’s record performance even more impressive because it didn’t involve one player coming close to setting an individual record for single-game 3-pointers made.
