Based on the updated NBA betting lines, I‘m backing Denver’s spread (+7.5) as my best bet for Game 7 of this Nuggets vs. Thunder series.
The number hasn’t mattered to the Nuggets for much of this series. They have covered the spread in four straight games and five of the six matchups in this Round 2 matchup.
Denver has traded between +5.5 and +10.5 for the duration of this round.
Game 7 figures to be a low-scoring matchup, which is why the total is 212.5 after being as high as 232 earlier in the series. A defensive battle improves Denver’s chances of covering a spread north of two possessions.
The Thunder continue to get plenty of respect in the market, but this has been a toss-up series from the start. I’ll back Denver at +7 or better in Game 7.
