  • The Kansas City Chiefs are 8-2 through Week 11 of the 2022 season.
  • They currently lead the AFC West.
  • The Chiefs currently would be the No. 1 seed in the AFC.

Led by Andy Reid and Patrick Mahomes, the Chiefs have been one of the best teams in the NFL for an extended period.

They have made the playoffs seven straight seasons and are among the favorites in NFL betting each week.

In addition to just making the postseason, Kansas City has hosted the AFC Championship four straight years but has just two Super Bowl appearances and one win over that span.

Here’s how things currently look for the 2022 season.

Chiefs Playoff Seed

Following Week 11, the Chiefs are 8-2 and would be the No. 1 seed in the AFC. Week 11 saw them come from behind for a thrilling road win in L.A. against the Chargers.

Chiefs First-Round Bye

The Chiefs currently would have a first-round bye since they are the No. 1 seed. But, there are a number of teams right behind Kansas City at 7-3, including the Dolphins, Titans, Ravens and Bills.

AFC Playoff Standings

1Chiefs8-2
2Dolphins7-3
3Titans7-3
4Ravens7-3
5Bills6-3
6Patriots6-4
7Bengals6-4

The top seven teams make the playoffs, with the four division winners earning the top four seeds.

After Week 11, there were some changes in the backend of the playoff picture as the Patriots moved up to No. 6 with their win over the Jets, and the Bengals are now in the playoffs after beating the Steelers on the road.

If the playoffs began today, the teams just missing out on the playoffs would be the Jets (6-4) and Chargers (5-5).
