Four NFL coaches are tied for the most Super Bowl losses with four: Bud Grant, Dan Reeves, Don Shula, and Marv Leavy.
Of those four, Shula is the only one with a Super Bowl victory. He finished 2-4 in six appearances with the Baltimore Colts and Miami Dolphins.
Grant, Reeves and Leavy each went 0-4. Both Grant and Leavy lost all four games with the same teams — the Minnesota Vikings and Buffalo Bills, respectively.
Reeves lost three with the Denver Broncos and one with the Atlanta Falcons.
Three other coaches have three losses apiece: Bill Belichick (6-3), Tom Landry (2-3) and Andy Reid (3-3).
Reid joined that group after the Chiefs fell in Super Bowl LIX to the Philadelphia Eagles.
