Among those teams, the Bengals have the best odds to win Super Bowl LVIII for the 2023-23 NFL season. At +850, they’re just ahead of the Bills (+900) and well ahead of the Chargers (+2000), Lions (+2500), and Jaguars (+2500).
Oldest NFL Teams Without a Super Bowl Win
The Cardinals are the oldest franchise (1920) that hasn’t won a Super Bowl. The Lions (1930) are the second-oldest with a win, followed by the Browns (1950).

After the Bengals loss to the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC Championship, none of the 12 teams without a Super Bowl win will earn its first this year. Both the Eagles and Chiefs have won the Lombardi Trophy.
The Chiefs have five Super Bowl appearances and three wins, while the Eagles have four Super Bowl appearances and one win.
What Team Has Lost the Most Super Bowls?
The Denver Broncos and New England Patriots have each lost five Super Bowls, the most among all teams. The Buffalo Bills and Minnesota Vikings are tied for the most Super Bowl losses (four) without a win.
The Broncos are 3-5 in eight Super Bowl appearances, while the Patriots are 6-5 in 11 appearances. All six of the Patriots’ Super Bowls were won by Tom Brady, whose seven all-time wins ranks first among quarterbacks in NFL history.
