The Masters is the best week of the year in golf.

It was the first major that was a designated event, with the new scheduling changes that went into effect for the 2022-23 PGA Tour season.

Jon Rahm came from behind to claim his first Masters title. He finished at 12-under, four shots better than Phil Mickelson and Brooks Koepka.

Rahm shot a final round 69, and this was his second major victory.

The purse for 2023 was $18 million, up from $15 million last year.
