- West Ham is predicted to be a -0.5-goal home favorite against Tottenham.
- Tottenham has lost each of its last four EPL away matches.
- My West Ham vs. Tottenham prediction is West Ham Over 1.5 Goals.
Two Premier League stragglers meet on Sunday at the London Stadium with West Ham hosting Tottenham.ย
West Ham surged to a 2-1 lead against Brighton but conceded two late goals to lose 3-2. That marks seven winless in a row for West Ham in the Premier League.ย
Tottenham fell 5-1 at Liverpool on Sunday in Liverpoolโs title-winning clincher. For Ange Postecoglouโs side, theyโve won only one game since March against last-place Southampton.ย
Check out the Premier League odds and my West Ham vs. Tottenham prediction.ย

Tottenham vs West Ham: Prediction
Based on West Hamโs recent attacking success and Tottenhamโs weak defensive record after a European fixture, my West Ham vs Tottenham prediction is West Ham Over 1.5 Goals (-125).
Trusting a weak West Ham attack is slightly scary, but Tottenhamโs defense looks incapable of keeping any team out.ย
Postecoglouโs side surrendered two or more goals in four straight and five of their last six in league games immediately following a Europa League match.ย
In 12 such matches across the entire season, Tottenham allowed opponents to score two or more goals seven times, with only three clean sheets.ย
For West Ham, the attack has improved since reincorporating Jarrod Bowen into the Starting XI.ย
Over their last six matches, the Hammers generated 1.13 post-shot xG per 90, despite clearing 1.5 goals only twice over that span.ย
But, remove a trip to Liverpool from the sample, and the average rises to 1.24.ย
Additionally, last weekendโs 1.7 post-shot xG performance at Brighton marks the second-best performance offensively under new manager Graham Potter.ย
It also shouldn’t go ignored that West Ham achieved strong offensive results against bad defenses at home.ย
Sample five matches against teams that have allowed 50 or more post-shot xG this season, and bettors will find West Ham cleared 1.5 goals in four of those contests.ย
With Tottenhamโs motivation in the league at zero, I like West Ham to make that record five successes in six matches.
