UFC 326: Cody Garbrandt vs. Xiao Long: Prediction
A unanimous decision victory for Garbrandt over Xiao is my prediction because he’s a very gun-shy fighter who doesn’t fully commit to striking exchanges. This results in him absorbing more blows than his opponents.
At 34, Garbrandt still has flashes of his speed, explosiveness, and power that can stun any contender in the 135-pound weight class. But his cardio has significantly slowed down. If he can blitz Xiao several times during the bout, I think he’ll be able to score points on the judges’ scorecards and secure the win.
