Patricio Pitbull looks to defend his place in the rankings of the featherweight division, as he’s set to face Dooho Choi at UFC 331 on Saturday inside Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.

Due to his three-fight win streak, Choi will be the betting favorite in the matchup with -275 UFC odds, while Pitbull, who’s coming off a decision defeat in his previous outing, is going to be the +225 betting underdog.

UFC 331: Patricio Pitbull vs. Dohoo Choi: Prediction

A TKO/KO victory for Choi is my prediction, because he’s the longer and more accurate striker. I think Choi will use every inch of his height, reach, and leg-length advantages to land combinations and avoid Pitbull’s counterpunches.

Additionally, Pitbull’s durability and toughness may have declined as he enters the latter part of his career at 39. Though the power and one-punch knockout ability are still there, Pitbull has lost a step in his movement, especially his speed.

Choi’s path to victory is to beat up Pitbull’s lead leg until he slows down. Once Pitbull endures the cumulative damage from those vicious kicks, Choi can pressure him and fire his signature boxing combinations to end the fight.

Patricio Pitbull’s Recent Fight Results

Pitbull was the former Bellator champion before finally signing with the UFC in April 2025. He competed in three fights under the promotion, racking up one win against Dan Ige and two losses to Yair Rodriguez and Aaron Pico.

Dohoo Choi’s Recent Fight Results

Choi is a UFC veteran who has been with the promotion since 2014. However, he took two hiatuses during his tenure. In his last five fights, he recorded three wins (Bill Algeo, Nate Landwehr, and Daniel Santos), one loss (Charles Jourdain), and one draw (Kyle Nelson).
