The vacant UFC women’s flyweight title is up for grabs this Saturday as Natalia Silva and Wang Cong will have the opportunity to be the next undisputed queen of the division when they headline UFC 332 at Delta Center in Salt Lake City.

Because of her undefeated record in the UFC, Silva heads into the championship fight as the betting favorite with -210 UFC odds, while Wang, despite only having one career defeat, is going to be the betting underdog with +170 odds.

UFC 332: Silva vs. Wang: Prediction

My prediction is a decision win for Silva over Wang because she’s the more dynamic striker. Her taekwondo background will keep Wang at bay, and she could spam her with front kicks and side kicks that will frustrate the Chinese MMA contender.

Wang’s striking is mainly boxing-based, and she’s very good with her combinations. She can also kick the legs of her opponents, especially when they are heavy on their lead leg, to chop it off. But I don’t think she’ll have the opportunity to kick Silva in this match because of her footwork and movement.

The only thing Silva should improve is her slow starts because she often downloads her opponents’ tendencies and patterns. What she needs this fight is to put instant pressure against Wang and force her to fight on her back foot to make her uncomfortable.

Natalia Silva’s Recent Fight Results

Silva was the former Jungle Fight titleholder before the UFC signed him in 2022. She won all her assignments inside the octagon, defeating Jasmine Jasudavicius, Tereza Bleda, Victoria Leonardo, Andrea Lee, Viviane Araujo, Jessica Andrade, Alexa Grasso, and Rose Namajunas.

Wang Cong’s Recent Fight Results

Wang is a Chinese MMA star who made his promotional debut in August 2024. Since her arrival in the UFC, she has defeated Victoria Leonardo, Bruna Brasil, Ariane Lipski da Silva, Eduarda Moura, and Tracy Cortez. Her lone defeat came at the hands of Gabriella Fernandes.
