UFC Abu Dhabi: Nurullo Aliev vs. Mike Davis: Prediction
With the better wrestling and cardio of Aliev, I predict a decision win for him over Davis. Davis gassed him out during his previous fight with a grappling-heavy opening round. If he chooses to have the same approach against Aliev, I think he’s going to be in a lot of trouble.
Aliev is one of the best wrestlers in the 155-pound weight class, and his cardio can hold up for three rounds. If Davis gasses out in the opening round with a wrestling-heavy fight, Aliev will take full advantage in the next two to secure the victory.
Though Aliev has underrated striking, I still see him employ a fight plan to his strengths, which are wrestling and grappling. I believe he’ll take Davis down the mat and threaten with multiple submissions. But, ultimately, he’ll survive three rounds, and Aliev stays undefeated.
Nurullo Aliev’s Recent Fight Results
Aliev is an undefeated MMA fighter from Tajikistan. He earned a UFC contract with a first-round stoppage win over Josh Wick at Dana White’s Contender Series in 2022. Then, he maintained his perfect record with victories over Rafael Alves, Joe Solecki, and Shem Rock in the promotion.
