Veteran UFC contender Nate Landwehr will make his lightweight debut against Mandel Nallo at UFC Edmonton on Saturday inside Rogers Place in Canada.

Both are coming off losses in their previous bouts, but Nallo enters the match as the betting favorite with -300 UFC odds, while Landwehr, who’s on a three-fight losing streak, is going to be the +240 betting underdog.

UFC Edmonton: Mandel Nallo vs. Nate Landwehr: Prediction

I predict a TKO/KO win for Nallo over Landwehr because he’s the more explosive striker. He’s also entering the match as the taller, longer fighter, which gives him an edge in striking exchanges.

Landwehr has suffered three straight stoppage losses, which makes me question his durability against sustained onslaughts. Nallo’s fast start and finishing instinct could trouble Landwehr, especially if he lands a significant strike early.

Furthermore, Landwehr is moving up in weight after years of competing in the featherweight division. The power difference at 155 could be another major roadblock, since he’ll be fighting a natural lightweight contender.

Mandel Nallo’s Recent Fight Results

Nallo was the former Samourai MMA champion before he joined Dana White’s Contender Series in September 2025. He finished Samuel Silva via first-round stoppage win to earn a UFC contract, but he was defeated by Jai Herbert in his octagon debut in April.

Nate Landwehr’s Recent Fight Results

Landwehr was the former M-1 Challenge champion before he made his UFC debut in 2020. But he has only recorded one win in his last five bouts, with a win over Jamall Emmers and losses to Dan Ige, Dooho Choi, Morgan Charriere, and Cub Swanson.
