UFC Edmonton: Erin Blanchfield vs. Jasmine Jasudavicius: Prediction

My prediction is a decision win for Blanchfield over Jasudavicius because she fires more strikes, which could be the main difference in this bout. Both are incredibly elite grapplers and submission artists.

With their grappling and submission skills canceling each other out, I think Jasudavicius’ striking volume will stand out. She fires a lot of jabs that set up her combinations. Blanchfield’s blitzes could overwhelm Jasudavicius several times.

Furthermore, Jasudavicius is a slow starter and takes her time to open up and throw her own combinations. Blanchfield could take advantage of this to have a head start on the judges’ scorecards and maintain it as the fight progresses.
