My prediction is a unanimous decision win for Brasil over Souza, since she has the better grappling skills, which will be her key to neutralizing her compatriot’s striking and power. Furthermore, she’ll be able to use this to score points on the judges’ scorecards.
Brasil can take a page from Angela Hill’s fight plan. She controlled Souza on the clinch, attempted several submission attempts, and rained down ground-and-pound strikes to inflict damage. Additionally, it’ll take off a lot of energy from Souza, as she constantly defends.
