The UFC action returns at the Meta APEX this Saturday, as the featherweight matchup between ranked contenders Josh Emmett and Kevin Vallejos headlines the card.
Due to his two-fight losing skid, Emmett heads into the match as the betting underdog with +400 UFC odds, while Vallejos, who’s been undefeated in the UFC since his debut in March 2025, is going to be the -550 betting favorite.
UFC Vegas 114: Emmett vs. Vallejos Fight Odds

UFC Vegas 114: Emmett vs. Vallejos: Prediction
I predict a TKO/KO finish for Vallejos over Emmett because he’s the faster and more explosive fighter. Both are heavy hitters with one-punch knockout power, but I think the speed of Vallejos will ultimately be the biggest catalyst.
At 41, Emmett has significantly lost a step against younger opponents and the evidence were seen in his two previous losses. Although he’s still got the atomic punching power, Father Time has caught up with him.
Vallejos isn’t only a power puncher, but he’s also a very calculated and tactical figher who’s very picky with his strikes. He also doesn’t waste energy in unnecessary movements, which greatly preserves his stamina.
Josh Emmett’s Recent Fight Results
Emmett is a UFC veteran who has been with the promotion since 2016. However, in his last five fights, he has only scored one victory over Bryce Mitchell and dropped the other four to Yair Rodriguez, Ilia Topuria, Lerone Murphy, and Youssef Zalal.
Kevin Vallejos’ Recent Fight Results
Vallejos was the former Samurai Fight House titleholder before he joined Dana White’s Contender Series in September 2024. He stopped Cam Teague in the opening round to secure a UFC contract. Since his promotion debut, he swept his three fights inside the octagon with wins over SeungWoo Cho, Danny Silva, and Giga Chikadze.
