  • Deiveson Figueiredo was the former UFC Flyweight Champion.
  • Figueiredo lost to Brandon Moreno in UFC 283.
  • Figueiredo announced his intention to move up in the bantamweight division.

Brazil’s Deiveson Figueiredo lost the UFC Flyweight Title to archrival Brandon Moreno in their fourth and last meeting in January 2023, where he sustained a third-round TKO stoppage defeat in the co-main event of UFC 283. The first meeting between Figueiredo and Moreno ended in a majority draw, and they split the result of the second and third meetings.

Although coming off a loss, it is only his third defeat in his MMA career, and he is still a top name in online sports betting through UFC odds, but when will the former two-time flyweight king be back inside the Octagon?

When Is Deiveson Figueiredo’s Next Fight?

Deiveson Figueiredo announced his intention to move up in the bantamweight division after the loss to Brandon Moreno in UFC 283. He stated that he had done a lot for the 125-pound division, and it’s time for him to leave.

The Brazilian will beef up the bantamweight division with already big names such as Umar Nurmagomedov, Pedro Munhoz, Dominick Cruz, Rob Font, Cory Sandhagen and Petr Yan.
