  • The Almaty Open is one of three low-level menโ€™s ATP tournaments this week.
  • The total prize purse for the 2025 Almaty Open is more than $1 million.

Unlike the WTA, the menโ€™s tennis tour doesnโ€™t spend more than a few weeks in Asia. Thatโ€™s because it plays a fuller indoor schedule in Europe in the fall, culminating with the Paris Masters draw at the end of the month.ย

The womenโ€™s tour, meanwhile, remains in eastern Asia for several more contests, including this weekโ€™s AUX Ningbo Open and Kinoshita Group Japan Open.

The only menโ€™s tournament that remains anywhere in Asia this week is the Almaty Open in Kazakhstan, headlined by Daniil Medvedev and reigning champion Karen Khachanov.ย

The total prize purse for this yearโ€™s Almaty Open is $1,055,255.ย
