Pitcher Luis Gil is the last Yankees player to win Rookie of the Year, securing the trophy in 2024.

Gil became the 10th different Yankees player to win Rookie of the Year, a list that includes Judge (2017) and Derek Jeter (1996).

Last Time a Yankees Manager Won Manager of the Year

Joe Torre was the most recent Yankees skipper to win AL Manager of the Year, receiving the selection in 1998 for leading a 114-win team. Torre also won the same award in 1996.

Buck Showalter (1994) is the only other manager to win this award in Yankees history.
