According to the latest MLB win totals market at the BetMGM online sportsbook, the New York Yankees have an over/under of 91.5 for the 2026 season.

Yankees Over/Under Wins 2026

  • Over 91.5 wins: -115
  • Under 91.5 wins: -105

Yankees Win Total Prediction 2026

  • Pass, but prefer over 91.5 wins

I would pass on the Yankees’ win total at their current MLB betting over/under, but prefer the over now that this mark has dropped from its opening line of 93.5.

The American League East division is too tough to have much faith in any team soaring past 90 wins, but the Yankees might have the best shot of doing so. They are bringing everyone back after winning 94 games for the second straight season.

New York’s quiet offseason has made people forget how talented this team has been in recent seasons. The Yankees have won 369 games over the last four years, ranking fourth in the majors during that span.

Somehow, the Yankees might have underachieved last year. According to the BaseRuns leaderboard at FanGraphs, New York should have had the best record in baseball at 100-62.

I’m not eager to bank on positive regression in the AL East, but the Yankees’ roster stacks up as well as anyone in that division. According to RosterResource at FanGraphs, they rank third in MLB in total projected WAR for the upcoming season.

Aaron Judge remains the best hitter in the sport after winning his third MVP award last year. He has plenty of talented players around him in the lineup, including Cody Bellinger, Austin Wells, Jazz Chisholm Jr., Ben Rice, and Giancarlo Stanton.

New York’s pitching won’t begin at full strength, but it has plenty of potential once Carlos Rodon and Gerrit Cole are back on the mound. Cam Schlittler, Will Warren, and Ryan Weathers offer some upside for a starting rotation that ranked fourth in ERA last summer.

Personally, I’d rather back the Yankees in other futures markets, but they should be in store for another strong campaign in 2026.
