  • Here’s a list of NBA players with the most playoff turnovers.
  • LeBron James leads the list with 975.
  • All players in this list have at least 500 turnovers.

Turnovers are one of several factors why NBA teams are not winning games and are lagging in NBA odds. It’s a way to determine how a team can take care of the ball on the offensive end and execute well to score baskets. But certain players, either through their carelessness or long-tenured stay in the league, have committed more than a few turnovers in their career.

These blunders are more costly during the playoffs, where all possessions count. As elite as they are, superstars are not perfect, and turnovers are mistakes they will inevitably make, whether they like it or not. That said, here’s a list of NBA players with the most playoff turnovers.

LeBron James leads in this category because of his 975 turnovers. This is quite understandable, as the King also holds the record for the most playoff game by a player at 266. Following him on the list is Magic Johnson, who amassed a whopping 696 turnovers in just 190 games. There’s a high probability that some of his flashy passes during the ’’Showtime Lakers’’ resulted in turnovers.

Succeeding James and Johnson on the list is big man Shaquille O’Neal, who made 649 turnovers in his playoff career. Not far behind is his former Los Angeles Lakers teammate Kobe Bryant, who had 647 of his own. Despite this combined number of turnovers, both O’Neal and Bryant won a three-peat for the Purple and Gold franchise. Completing the top five is Spurs icon Tim Duncan with 633 playoff turnovers in 251 games.
