In today’s style of play in the NBA, three-pointers are essential to a team’s success, especially when playing in the NBA Finals. Teams who hit the most number of threes are likely the favorite in basketball betting, which the Golden State Warriors did in the past nine seasons, as they were able to capture four titles in that period.

But who in the history of the NBA Finals has racked up the most three-point field goals?

Unsurprisingly, Stephen Curry holds the most NBA Finals three-pointers with 152. After all, he revolutionized the style of play in the NBA. Curry made six trips to the finals and played in 34 games, thus averaging 27.3 points, 5.8 rebounds, and 6 assists to help the Warriors bag four titles in those finals campaigns.

Following Curry in this category is his Golden State teammate and the other half of the “Splash Brothers” Klay Thompson, who made 106 three-point field goals in 33 games. Thompson was also a vital member of the Warriors dynasty that helped deliver multiple titles over the past decade. He produced an average of 18.5 points, 3.9 rebounds, and 1.9 assists.

Sitting in the third spot behind Curry and Thompson is their on-court rival, LeBron James, with 101 three-points in 55 games. Thanks to his 10 NBA Finals appearances, he was able to join the 100 club in this category. James faced the Warriors four consecutive times in the finals from 2015 to 2018 and spearheaded the famous 3-1 series comeback to give Cleveland their first NBA title in 2016.

J.R. Smith and Danny Green are tied in the fourth spot with 59 made three-pointers each. Smith played for 25 games (five NBA Finals appearances with two titles), while Green suited up for 24 finals games (four NBA Finals appearances with three titles). Robert Horry completes the top-five list with his 56 three-pointers in 37 games. Horry was a reliable contributor to the teams he played for, which was key in his journey to win seven championships.
