The World Series might have concluded in just five games, but this weekend is still loaded with huge contests and hundreds of online sports betting opportunities.

NBA

Mavericks at Nuggets

Friday, Nov. 3  |  10 p.m. ET  |  ESPN

The first-ever NBA In-Season Tournament begins on Friday. These are regular-season games that double as group-round tournament games.

The best matchup of the first day is clearly the showdown between the undefeated Dallas Mavericks and the world-champion Denver Nuggets, who will duel with early Western supremacy on the line.

The season is very young, with only four games played so far for most teams, but Mavs superstar Luka Doncic is leading the league in scoring so far with a masterful 33.8 points per game. He’s also chipping in 10.5 rebounds, 9.8 assists, and 1.3 steals.

Doncic’s wizardry hasn’t necessarily helped his team in the NBA odds market. The Mavericks are +2500 in the NBA Finals odds market. Five other Western teams are ahead of them in the table.

Unsurprisingly, Denver is currently favored to win the West, and Nikola Jokic is the current favorite to win his third NBA MVP award.

College Football

No. 14 LSU at No. 8 Alabama

Saturday, Nov. 4  |  7:45 p.m. ET  |  ESPN

Week 10 of the college football season should deliver some heavy results that will greatly shape the new College Football Playoff rankings. None will be more impactful than Saturday night’s game between Alabama and LSU.

As they have in so many seasons, the Tigers and Tide will clash with control of the SEC West on the line. If Alabama should win, it will all but lock up the division, with its only loss coming back in Week 2 in a non-conference game against Texas.

If LSU can pull off the upset, though, the SEC West standings will look very interesting at the top. No. 8 Alabama, No. 10 Ole Miss, and No. 14 LSU would all be locked in a three-way tie atop the standings. And while Mississippi has a head-to-head win against LSU, it also still has a game at No. 2 Georgia on the schedule next week.

An LSU win at Alabama, coupled with an Ole Miss loss at Georgia, would leave the Tigers in command of the SEC West with just two weeks to go in the regular season.

BetMGM’s college football odds price Alabama as just a 3-point home favorite against LSU. Prepare for a competitive game.

NFL

Chiefs vs. Dolphins

Sunday, Nov. 5  |  9:30 a.m. ET  |  NFL Network

After a successful international debut in Germany last season, the NFL is headed back to Germany for two games this month. The first, which will be played in Frankfurt this Sunday, has major postseason implications: Chiefs vs. Dolphins.

The winner may very well be the No. 1 seed in the AFC in January.

The Chiefs had regained their position as the Super Bowl odds favorite after a turbulent stretch in October when the Eagles, 49ers, and Bills all lost games. But last week, it was the Chiefs’ turn for a stinker, losing to AFC West rival Denver in an ugly, low-scoring game.

The NFL betting market doesn’t seem to have any long-term reservations about the Chiefs, though, as Kansas City remains a short favorite in Germany against the Dolphins’ powerful offense.

This is the first game between the Chiefs and Dolphins since wide receiver Tyreek Hill was traded from Kansas City in March 2022.

This season, Hill already has 1,014 receiving yards and eight touchdowns; the Chiefs’ leading wide receiver has 361 yards and three touchdowns.
