Suns Over/Under Wins 2026-27

Suns Win Total Prediction

  • Over 38.5 wins (-120) — Prediction made Aug. 25

With the Suns’ win total dropping from 40.5 to 38.5, I prefer the over on a team that should contend for a spot in the play-in tournament.

Phoenix made it through the play-in tournament to earn the No. 7 seed last year before being eliminated in Round 1. The Suns won 45 games, clearing their preseason win total of 30.5. And for the second straight season, I think Phoenix is underrated from a talent perspective.

Jordan Ott proved to be a strong coach in his debut season. The Suns ranked 10th in defensive rating, which speaks to his ability to get the most out of his personnel.

Devin Booker remains the franchise player, leading the team as the point guard. He averaged 26.6 points and six assists per game last year. Booker was named an All-Star for the second time in the past three campaigns.

But I also like the potential of Booker’s supporting cast. Jalen Green was limited to 27 starts in his first year with the Suns, but he offers the team a much-needed scoring punch when healthy.

Center Mark Williams struggled to stay healthy by the end of the year, but provided 11.7 points and eight rebounds per game during his first stint in Phoenix. The Suns have solid depth behind him if Williams continues to deal with health issues.

In addition, Phoenix has reliable role players with a lot to prove between Dillon Brooks, Jordan Goodwin, Collin Gillespie, and Luke Kennard.

The Suns should remain competitive in 2026-27.
