  • Get expert betting predictions and analysis for Warriors vs. Timberwolves.
  • Minnesota is -5000 to win this Round 2 matchup.
  • The Timberwolves are 10.5-point favorites in Wednesdayโ€™s Game 5.

The Minnesota Timberwolves can punch their ticket to a second straight Western Conference finals when they host the Golden State Warriors at 9:30 p.m. ET on Wednesday at the Target Center on TNT.

The Timberwolves took a 3-1 lead with Mondayโ€™s 117-110 win over the Warriors. Minnesota will want to finish the job as a double-digit favorite in Game 5, as Stephen Curry could return after a few days off ahead of Game 6.

Here’s a look at the latest NBA betting lines for the Warriors vs. Timberwolves and my prediction ahead of Wednesdayโ€™s Game 5:

Warriors vs. Timberwolves Odds: Game 5

  • Warriors spread: +10.5

Warriors vs. Timberwolves Round 2 Odds

According to the latest NBA betting lines, the Timberwolves are -5000 to win their Round 2 matchup for an implied probability of 98.04%. Golden State was +155 entering this round, marking the first time the team was a series underdog before Game 1 since 2014.

Timberwolves series price: -5000

Warriors vs. Timberwolves Prediction: Game 5 Best Bet

According to the updated NBA betting market, Iโ€™m taking under 32.5 points and assists (-110) for Golden State forward Jimmy Butler as my best bet for Game 5 of this Warriors vs. Timberwolves series.

After giving Game 3 everything he had (33 points, seven assists, seven rebounds), Butler disappeared in Game 4. He scored 14 points on nine shots, finishing with six rebounds and three assists.

I cashed the under on 6.5 assists for Butler last time out, but there was room to fade him even more. Considering the markets havenโ€™t adjusted, Iโ€™ll take that opportunity in Game 5.

Butler has averaged 21 points and 5.5 assists per game in this series. Heโ€™s only cleared this mark once in four games.

The Wolves might roll in this game, opening the door for the Warriors to wave the white flag. I like betting against Butler in this spot.

Game 5 prediction: Jimmy Butler under 32.5 points and assists (-110)
