Rees spent most of his time in college football. For six years, he worked at Notre Dame:

- Off. Coordinator, 2020-22
Rees also spent a year at Alabama. Alabama employed Rees as QB coach and OC.
Rees started his coaching posts at Northwestern. In 2015, he worked as a graduate assistant.
In 2016, Rees gained a season of NFL experience. At 24, he spent a year as a Chargers offensive assistant.
Rees faces a big task in Cleveland this year.
Cleveland scored only 15.2 points per game in 2024. The Browns ranked 10th the prior season.
