Josh Grizzard takes over as the Bucs’ offensive coordinator in 2025.
Grizzard replaces Liam Coen, who took the Jags’ head coach job. This year marks the third straight year Tampa Bay replaced its OC.
Tampa Bay elevated Grizzard internally as its new OC. Last year, he worked as the pass game specialist.
Before he worked in Tampa, Grizzard spent a long time in Miami:
- 2017-18: Off. Quality Control
- 2019, 2022-23: Quality Control
- 2020-21: WR’s Coach
Grizzard spent time in the NCAA before his NFL start.
In 2012, he served as a Yale student assistant for a year. He then spent four years at Duke:
- 2013-15: Grad Asst.
- 2016: Asst. QB’s Coach/Quality Control
This year, Grizzard aims to keep a strong Bucs offense. Last year, Tampa Bay finished fourth in points per game.
That marked a big jump from the two years prior. In those years, Tampa ranked 25th and 20th.
