Of the 12 NFL teams that have never won a Super Bowl, only three are still alive in the 2022-23 NFL playoffs, therefore nine teams have the longest Super Bowl drought at 57 years:

  • Arizona Cardinals
  • Cincinnati Bengals
  • Jacksonville Jaguars

Of those teams, the Arizona Cardinals have the longest championship drought at 75 years. In NFL odds for next year, the Cardinals opened at +25000 to win the Super Bowl, only ahead of the Houston Texans (+30000).

Longest NFL Championship Droughts

The Arizona Cardinals haven’t won a league championship since winning the NFL championship in 1947.

The Lions have the second-longest NFL championship drought at 65 years, followed by the Vikings (62), Browns (58), Titans (57), and Falcons (57).

Only four active NFL teams have never appeared in a Super Bowl.
