The second round of the Sony Open in Hawaii will be played Friday, Jan. 13, at Waialae Country Club in Honolulu.
The event has a purse of $7.9 million and features a few big names, including Jordan Spieth, Tom Kim and defending champion Hideki Matsuyama.
Players will be in the same groups for the first two rounds. Groups that teed off in the morning for the first round will tee off in the afternoon Friday, and vise versa.
Following Friday’s second round, the field will be cut from 144 players to the top 65 and ties.
Head into Round 2, Spieth has the best golf odds to win at +400. He’s currently tied for the lead at 6-under with two others.
