UFC London: Michael Page vs. Sam Patterson: Prediction

I predict a unanimous decision win for Page over Patterson, because he’s the quicker and more accurate striker. Page’s background in Karate Point Fighting has made him a problem in the MMA, as his opponents couldn’t catch him with a clean punch.

This movement, speed, and precision will all be the catalyst in this match, as Patterson will play catch with Page throughout the majority of the bout. The only way for Patterson to slow Page down is to target his lead leg with strong kicks.

Also, Patterson can choose to close the distance and grapple with Page to drain a significant amount of Page’s energy. However, Page’s takedown defence and strength will be enough to stop Patterson’s takedowns en route to a decision victory.

Michael Page’s Recent Fight Results

Page was a former Bellator star before the UFC signed him in 2024. In his first four bouts under the promotion, he recorded three wins over Kevin Holland, Shara Magomedov, and Jared Cannonier. His only loss was to Ian Machado Garry.

Sam Patterson’s Recent Fight Results

Patterson’s route to the UFC was through Dana White’s Contender Series in September 2022, where he submitted Vinicius Cenci in the second round to earn a UFC contract. He dropped his UFC debut to Yanal Ashmouz, but won his next four against Yohan Lainesse, Kiefer Crosbie, Danny Barlow, and Trey Waters.
