Noche UFC: Manon Fiorot vs. Alexa Grasso: Prediction
I predict a decision win for Grasso over Fiorot mainly because of the stylistic matchup. Grasso is the more well-rounded fighter and utilizes both her striking and grappling skills, while Fiorot, drawing on her karate background, relies heavily on her striking.
Grasso can use her striking as a decoy for a level change and shoot for a takedown. Once on the ground, Grasso is expected to throw a lot of ground-and-pound strikes and transition to submission techniques.
The former UFC women’s flyweight queen should take a page out of Shevchenko’s fight plan against Fiorot, when she traded strikes early before shooting for a takedown and dominating Fiorot in top position.
Manon Fiorot’s Recent Fight Results
Fiorot was the former Eagle FC and UAE Warriors champion before signing with the UFC in 2021. She won seven straight fights to earn her shot at the title against Valentina Shevchenko at UFC 315 in May 2025, but came up short with a unanimous decision loss. She bounced back immediately and scored a first-round win over Jasmine Jasudavicius in October.
Alexa Grasso’s Recent Fight Results
Grasso has been with the UFC since 2016 and was the former UFC women’s flyweight champion. In her last five bouts, she recorded two wins (Shevchenko and Maycee Barber), two losses (Shevchenko and Natalia Silva), and one draw (Shevchenko).
