Welterweight contenders Jean-Paul Lebosnoyani and Farman Hasanov look to inch closer to the division’s top 15 rankings as they collide at UFC Vegas 123 on Saturday inside the Meta APEX in Las Vegas.
Lebosnoyani will be the betting favorite with -300 UFC odds, as he’s still undefeated in the UFC. Meanwhile, Hasanov, who still holds a perfect pro MMA record and is coming off a win in his octagon debut, is going to be the +240 betting underdog.

UFC Vegas 123: Jean-Paul Lebosnoyani vs. Farman Hasanov: Prediction
My prediction is a decision win for Hasanov over Lebosnoyani, as he’s the better overall grappler and his wrestling is relentless. Even though Lebosnoyani is a tricky, elite submission artist, I still think Hasanov’s wrestling will shine in this matchup.
Hasanov drags opponents down and grinds them out with ground-and-pound strikes. He also attempts submissions when the opportunity arises, and so I think he’ll drag Lebosnoyani down and dominate him.
Another factor is Hasanov’s punching power, as he can unload a powerful overhand right. So even if the fight stays on the feet, I believe Hasanov will still have a slight advantage over Lebosnoyani.
Jean-Paul Lebosnoyani’s Recent Fight Results
Lebosnoyani was the former Lights Out Xtreme Fighting champion before he joined Dana White’s Contender Series in September 2025. He defeated Jack Congdon to earn a UFC contract. Lebosnoyani then swept his first two assignments in the UFC, defeating Phil Rowe and Seokhyeon Ko.
Farman Hasanov’s Recent Fight Results
Hasanov entered the UFC as an undefeated prospect when he made his debut in June at UFC Baku. He faced Eric Nolan and secured a unanimous decision win, announcing his arrival in the Las Vegas-based promotion.
