Since his dominant debut in July 2020, Khamzat Chimaev’s stock in the UFC has gone up tremendously, with his undefeated 13-0 professional record backing this up. UFC President Dana White recently announced that Chimaev will be fighting the No. 3-ranked divisional contender and former UFC middleweight champion Robert Whittaker on June 22 in the main event of UFC Fight Night inside the Kingdom Arena in Saudi Arabia.

According to White, the winner of this showdown will be next in line for the UFC middleweight title.
