Valentina Shevchenko’s latest triumph over Talia Santos in a close, controversial and debatable result in June 2022 has tied her for the fifth-most title defenses in UFC history at seven. According to ESPN Deportes, Valentina Shevchenko will be fighting Alexa Grasso, the number four-ranked contender in the UFC Women’s Flyweight Division, on March 4, 2023, under the UFC 285 card.

This UFC Women’s Flyweight Title showdown is expected to be the co-main event of the Jones-Gane Heavyweight Title bout. It will also be the “Bullet’s” eighth straight title defense since winning it in December 2018.
