The No. 6 Indiana Fever will square off with the No. 3 Las Vegas Aces in a best-of-three Round 1 series in the 2026 WNBA Playoffs. Game 1 is slated for 4 p.m. ET on Sunday at the Michelob ULTA Arena in Las Vegas.
Check out my Fever vs. Aces prediction based on the latest WNBA odds:
Fever vs. Aces Prediction: Sunday, Sept. 27
- Aces to win Game 1 & series
BetMGM offers a -125 value on the Aces to win Game 1 and this Round 1 series against the Fever. That’s currently my favorite prediction ahead of this exciting Fever vs. Aces matchup. Otherwise, I’d wait to see if the spread drops from 3.5 and lay the points with Las Vegas.
Indiana fell to the No. 6 seed after getting crushed by the Minnesota Lynx in the regular-season finale. The Fever went from being slated to face the Atlanta Dream in Round 1 to meeting the defending champions instead.
Theoretically, the Fever should feel better about their matchup with the Aces. Indiana won two of the three head-to-head meetings, which included a pair of blowout victories. However, facing Las Vegas in the postseason is a completely different story.
The Aces hit another gear in the playoffs, having won three of the last four titles. Their net rating improved by 3.7 points in last year’s postseason compared to the regular season. That included a 16-game win streak to close the regular season.
Las Vegas ended the year on a seven-game win streak in 2026, and will look to maintain that momentum at home in the series opener. The Aces had a +5.5 net rating at home during the regular season, whereas the Fever averaged nearly seven fewer points per game on the road.
In addition, Indiana forward Aliyah Boston suffered an injury in the regular-season finale. Her status is worth monitoring, though I believe in the Aces either way.
