According to Spotrac, that is the minimum salary for players with 0 years of experience. If a player has one or two years of experience, their minimum salary climbs to $277,500 for the 2026 season.
For comparison, the minimum salary in 2025 for a player with 0-2 years of experience was $66,079 as recently as 2025.
