Because heโs fighting at his natural weight class, Alvarez is the betting favorite in BetMGMโs online sportsbook at -350 against Charlo, who is the betting underdog at +275.

Charlo wants to defy the boxing odds and score a massive upset against the Mexican superstar after taking the risk and moving two divisions up from his original weight class. The โIron Manโ aims to maximize his speed advantage to avoid Alvarezโs power punches that knocked out 39 of his previous opponents. If Charlo scores a victory, he will become a two-division undisputed champion.
Meanwhile, Alvarez is looking to cruise past the American and set up a rematch with recent tormentor Dmitry Bivol for his WBA Super World Light Heavyweight title. The Russian defeated the 33-year-old boxing superstar in their first meeting in May 2022 via unanimous decision to deny him of winning another championship.
