Last week, Luke Fahey’s quarterback debut ended in a loss to a high-powered West Coast offense.

The Buckeyes are back in Columbus this week, but there’s another West Coast team known for its offense lining up against the scarlet and grey.

BetMGM has NCAA football odds available for all the Week 10 college football action.

Ohio State vs. Oregon: Preview & Notes

The USC game confirmed for bettors what already looked obvious in Bloomington back in Week 7 – if Ohio State is going to win, it’s gotta grind out ugly, low-scoring games. The Buckeyes simply do not have a backup quarterback who can facilitate championship-caliber offense.

It could be rough news, then, that the next two opponents for Ohio State are Oregon and Northwestern.

This is not a vintage year for the Ducks, but there’s still likely to be some level of offensive threat from backup quarterback Dylan after he played arguably his best game of the season in Week 9.

Ultimately, my first reaction to this line is very similar to what I felt last week, when the Buckeyes opened as a 7-point road favorite at USC. Until Luke Fahey proves otherwise, should Ohio State football odds price out as this big of a conference favorite against anyone?
