Odds Boost This Weekend

Wake Forest has had two seasons this century with at least 10 wins.

The 2026 season looks like it could be the third. The Demon Deacons are ranked in the AP Top 25 and streaking toward a strong finish.

In an ACC without a clear No. 2 team, Wake has the chance to step into the vacuum. And as the Wake Forest football odds market now indicates, there is a realistic chance for the Deacs to crack the playoff.

At BetMGM, Wake Forest is currently +700 to make the 2026 College Football Playoff.

Wake Forest College Football Playoff Prediction

I am predicting Wake Forest will miss the 2026 College Football Playoff.

The ACC remains quite weak below Miami. I think it’s likely that the Big Ten, SEC, and maybe even the Big 12 eat the remaining bids, leaving the ACC with just one school represented in the 12-team playoff field.

Wake Forest looks a bit like BYU did in 2025 – a team with a great record that is ultimately snubbed from playoff contention.
